Have you ever tried to get MP3 files off of your iPod (or someone else's) in order to make backups or transfer files?
Well Wired has a great howto on getting your MP3s from the confines of your iPod once you have put the music on there in the first place.
The how-to covers many common tools as well as a few I hadn't heard of before and comes highly recommended.
